Huh?

It's my office, in Lego. The various lamps are monitored (and controlled) via X10. The office image is updated in real time and reflects the actual state of the lighting. There's also a motion sensor, and I track keyboard/mouse idle time. That way, if I'm there, the Matthew minifig shows up in the picture.

Um, why?

I'm always looking for good ways to sacrifice privacy for the sake of cool technology.

Why's it so dark?

I'm probably not there. Check again later; you should eventually be able to catch me at work.

D'you have more pictures of the office?

Yes.

Really real time?

Well, pretty close. To reduce overhead, the X10 interface is queried at most once every thirty seconds.

Can the lights be controlled remotely?

Of course.

Can I do it?

Oh no.

Back.
